Science of the election presentations

This particular post will have three parts.

I. Attending presentations on Friday, October 17th, 2008
You will be required to attend Friday's presentations of Environmental Science students, who will discuss various topics relating to "The Science of the 2008 Election."

II. Note-taking
Prior to this date, you will be given a list of topics these students will present on. From each group, you will select ONE topic to focus in on and take detailed notes. This means that at close of presentations, you will have taken notes on SIX speakers (since there are six over-arching topics with one student per topic). You will then POST YOUR NOTES TO THIS WEBSITE NO LATER THAN 8:00 A.M. MONDAY, OCTOBER 20th, 2008.

III. Topic Response
Since you have taken good notes, you will be asked to respond to questions about the topics discussed. You should respond to three of the six topics presented on. Your deadline to respond is no later than 4:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 (Questions will be posted later this week: October 13-17, 2008).
